Other speakers were an attorney and Thane Walker of Honolulu, a book reviewer and a TV producer. The incoming president of the Los Angeles Chapter a few days later appeared on a major TV program, the same program that in 1954 (see above) first, so far as is known, presented a homosexual to a TV audience, one potentially numbering millions. Thus, once again West Coast homophile organizations made history.
